When I first created my website, I didn’t post anything for over six months. Eventually, I took the bold step of putting up a post – I was so relieved! After that, I only posted when I felt like it, but this inconsistent approach was not taking me anywhere. Realizing the need for a change, I built a system to ensure I upload a new post every Thursday.
As Christians, we often subconsciously fall into the habit of only taking action when we ‘feel’ led or believe we are in a Kairos moment of our lives. While it is reasonable and biblically correct to act on God’s leading, we sometimes miss out when we remain idle.
My dad often says, “If you close your eyes to avoid seeing evil people, you will never know when good people pass you by.”
Ecclesiastes 11:6 advises, “Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you do not know if profit will come from one activity or another—or both.”
Proverbs 14:23 states, “In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty.”
These scriptures encourage us to be diligent and hardworking. You don’t need to wait for a voice from heaven before doing well in whatever your hands find to do. When you start, you will eventually notice a pattern and can devise a system around the most profitable of your endeavors. However, do not sit around idle.
Success often comes to those who take consistent action rather than waiting for the perfect moment.
By developing a routine and staying committed to our goals, we can achieve significant progress. Embrace diligence and persistence in all areas of life, and remember that even small, consistent efforts can lead to substantial results.
Don’t wait for the perfect moment; start now and let your hard work pave the way to success.
Have an amazing weekend!
