As the popular adage goes; ‘all fingers are not equal’. Some have beauty that is in the eyes of their beholder, while others have beauty that is in the eyes of numerous beholders. Some people have their family’s wealth giving them a head start in pursuing their dreams. Others have built resilience through adversity, much like the Jewish people who, despite facing trials from biblical times to the present day, have often turned suffering into strength. We all have a unique advantage in our race in life. For some, its their beauty, others, its being from a wealthy home, others, its being born in an organized country. Whatever it is, use it to get ahead in life.
Success doesn’t require starting from nothing. In as much as everyone loves a “grass-to-grace” story, there is also beauty in a “grace-to-grace” story, where God’s favor takes you from one level of glory to the next.
The truth is, no one starts from the same place, and that’s okay. What truly matters is how you steward what you’ve been given. As scripture reminds us: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10, NIV).
Don’t let society diminish your achievements because of the privileges you began with. Instead, focus on how you can use them to become the best version of yourself. Every blessing you possess is an opportunity to bring light to the world, joy to others, and glory to God.
Your advantages are not an accident—they are a responsibility. Steward them boldly, wisely, and humbly, always remembering that everything you have is a gift from Him. Let your success be a radiant testimony of His abundant grace working in and through your life.
Success isn’t just about climbing higher; it’s about lifting others as you rise. Every resource, every opportunity, and every bit of influence you hold is a chance to build something meaningful and leave the world better than you found it.
Have an amazing weekend!
Merry Christmas in advance

“Success isn’t just about climbing higher; it’s about lifting others as you rise.” This line hit hard. This is by far my best piece that you’ve shared so far. Thank you Doctor.
Don’t let society diminish your achievements just because you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. This is such a beautiful, insightful and timely piece especially in a month where thanksgiving is vital. Thank you so much for sharing Doc.
